Source: Derry Journal Tuesday 6th May, resident Michael Harkin captures a UFO whilst driving in a car in the Prehen area of Derry, Ireland, the silver UFO looks suspiciously like that from the 'Flight of the Navigator' movie.  Mr Harkin, who contacted the 'Derry Journal' said: "I realised that there seemed to be an unusual object in the sky and decided to take a picture. On examination it seems to be a saucer-like object flying not far above houses on the Prehen Road." He wonders if anyone else saw it.Some years ago I remember a TV documentary about a group of 'blimp' builders who constructed a UFO which was strikingly similar to this UFO from Derry, it was powered by a small propeller and had a 'fin' on it's underbelly to aid directional movement. That particular UFO hoax was part of a documentary that was shown on UK television, the precise date and station escapes me at the moment, however it looked similar to the Derry UFO. Is this the real deal? Is it a blimp? Is it photoshopped? Only time will tell I suppose. |
