The Bookies, William Hill, slashes the odds of Aliens visiting the North’s best-known landmark the Northern Angel, to 10-1. Said the Sunday Sun.
The Prime Minister’s residence, 10 Downing Street, and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff are 5-1 joint favorites as alien landing sites, followed by Stonehenge at 7-1, the Angel of the North and Wembley Stadium at 10-1, Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh at 20-1 and the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland as a 22-1 outsider.
The odds of Prime Minister Gordon Brown confirming intelligent extra terrestrial life have been cut from 500-1 to 100-1 to utter the immortal words: “Take Me Home!”, as his first greeting, and 100-1 if he says: “Anything to declare?”
