In 1971, six RAF military radars, plus operators at Heathrow spotted a convoy of 35 super-fast noiseless UFOs east of Salisbury Plain, but when commanders filed reports on the unexplained phenomenon to authorities, and after a short visit three days later by the Ministry of Defence, they were instructed to "never speak about the incident again". Wing Cmdr Turner, who retired from the RAF in 1995, said: "UFOs are a fact — I tracked them on military radar units. It’s arrogant to believe that we’re the only ones in this universe."
