According to the India Daily, E.T. communicates via the hyperspace by manipulating and listening to gravity waves.

Scientists are apparently in shock because extraterrestrial communication takes place not in our standard terrestrial electromagnetic spectrum frequencies like radio telescopes, but instead they may use gravity waves, the dark matter that interacts with all the dimensional realities.

Reverse engineering this technology is claimed to be possible and apparently defence scientists around the world are trying to understand the mechanisms right now.

The challenge is to be able to listen in on extraterrestrial civilizations but because they are more advanced than us they may be difficult to understand.
